Welcome to GRITX 8.0, the eighth edition of our annual National Service Scheme symposium where grit, innovation, and social responsibility converge. This year, we present a dynamic fusion of 19 technical and non-technical events, meticulously designed to challenge the brightest minds and ignite the most creative spirits. From intense hackathons and debugging challenges to cinematic showcases and strategic debates

DESIGN DASH
A Figma design challenge where participants create app or website frontends based on a surprise theme. Creativity and originality win!

THE DEBATE SAGE
A balloon decides your topic! Teams debate with one member as judge, testing quick thinking and sharp arguments.

CINE SPARK
Showcase 5–10 minute films on impactful themes like sustainability, equality, and empowerment. Cinema as a tool for change.

WEB VIBE
Build websites inspired by the UN’s SDGs. Teams have 2.5 hours to design functional, purpose-driven sites.

BUG BLAZE
A coding contest with three rounds of debugging, problem-solving, and innovation to prove coding mastery.

THE REEL SHOWDOWN
Perform reels, memes, and scenes in fun rounds of acting, dubbing, and guessing. Pure creativity and entertainment!

MINI HACKATHON
A 4-hour challenge where teams design and develop real-world solutions and pitch prototypes to judges.

Paper Presentation:
Teams of up to 3 can submit research or project papers on social service initiatives. Accepted abstracts will be published in a booklet with an ISBN, giving recognition for innovative ideas and community impact.
